Honestly: past about ₦250,000 a month in online payments, a ₦10,000 subscription can cost less — unless your payments are large, where the ₦4,000 cap on each payment keeps Brakett’s fee down. In a quiet month, or a month paid mostly in cash and POS, Brakett costs you nothing. The cap is per payment, so a deposit and its balance are two payments.

The fee is 4% of your price, rounded down to the kobo, per payment. From ₦100,000 a payment it is a flat ₦4,000. A deposit and its balance are two payments. Nothing is charged on cash, POS or a transfer you record yourself.

Does Brakett take a percentage of my payments?
Yes — 4% of your price on each payment a customer makes online, never more than ₦4,000 per payment, and nothing on payments you take offline. There is no monthly fee on top.
When is a monthly subscription actually cheaper?
Above about ₦250,000 a month in online payments of typical size, a ₦10,000 subscription costs less than 4% — unless your payments are large, where the ₦4,000 cap keeps the fee down. Below that, and in any month with little or no online volume, paying per payment costs less.
Are there setup fees or contracts?
