Brakett is provided by THE BORING TECH CO., a technology business registered in Nigeria under CAMA 2020 (BN 9563493 · 16, Yomi Ajetunmobi Street, Sangotedo, Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria · hello@usebrakett.com · +234 912 609 0761). These terms govern a Business’s use of Brakett.
The service
Brakett provides booking management, payment collection (via Paystack), and customer communication (email + WhatsApp) for service businesses.
Your responsibilities as a Business (data controller)
- You are the data controller for your customers’ data. You must have a lawful basis to add customers and to send them marketing, and must honour their rights.
- You must obtain marketing consent before using Brakett’s marketing/relationship automations; Brakett enforces this technically but you are accountable for it.
- Keep your account credentials secure; you are responsible for actions by your team.
- Comply with applicable law (NDPA, consumer protection, sector rules).
Brakett’s responsibilities (data processor)
- Process customer data only on your instructions and to provide the service.
- Apply the security measures described in our Privacy Policy.
- Assist you with data-subject requests and breach notification.
- Use only the sub-processors listed in our Third-Party Register.
Payments & fees
Customer payments settle to your connected Paystack account. Brakett’s subscription fees (if any) are billed separately and disclosed in-app.
Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
Termination
You may delete your workspace at any time (we provide an export first; deletion is a hard cascade). We may suspend accounts for non-payment or misuse.
Liability

Changes
We version these terms; continued use after a material change, or explicit acceptance, constitutes agreement. The version you accepted is recorded.
