Brakett’s web app uses the minimum browser storage needed to work.
What we use
- Strictly necessary (always on): authentication/session tokens to keep you signed in, and local storage for app state. These are required for the service to function and do not require consent.
- Booking convenience (public booking page):
- a short-lived booking draft in session storage (~6 hours) so a reload mid-booking doesn’t lose what you typed; cleared when the booking completes.
- a device recognition token stored after a successful booking so the same device is greeted and prefilled (masked) on a return visit to the same business. Stored hashed on our side; clearing browser storage forgets the device. See the Privacy Policy for details.
- Analytics / advertising cookies: none currently. Brakett does not run third-party analytics or ad trackers at this time.
If we introduce analytics or any non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and request consent (a cookie banner) before setting them.
Managing cookies
You can clear cookies/local storage in your browser, but doing so will sign you out and reset app preferences.
Changes
This policy is versioned; material changes are surfaced in-app.
